A New Adventure

Today marks the start of something new!

With much anticipation, I have launched my website. It brings me great joy to share my artwork with all of you. I have spent many years cultivating relationships with my mediums and coming into my own as an artist. It's been a long and winding road to get here, but to have come this far feels truly amazing.

Though I had been making art in the form of illustration and graphic design for several years, I began painting seriously around 8 years ago. Painting became a therapeutic practice for me during a difficult time in my life. It was then that I discovered not only how much I enjoyed painting, but also that I had a flair for it. Not only was the process healing, but each piece sparked new new inspiration and creativity in me.

I continued painting in my free time as the years went on, never quite sure what to do with the growing stack of paintings. When I decided to leave my job in retail management this past December I realized it was time I put my artistic skill set to better use. I enrolled in a few online courses to further my education in Graphic Design and UX/UI Design. It was a valuable experience which encouraged me to step out of my comfort zones and experiment with new mediums. Do I still suffer from impostor syndrome? Yes. But do I feel more confident as an artist? Yes, I do. And that has brought me here. I am now delighted to be sharing my artwork with the world at large.
